This factory-original Sub-Zero icemaker control arm regulates ice production by sensing the level of ice in the bin. When the bin is full, the accumulated ice pushes the arm up, signaling the icemaker to stop making ice. As ice is removed, the arm drops, allowing the production of ice to resume.
