OEM part description
Genuine Sub-Zero ice maker control arm used to sense the ice level in the storage bin and stop ice production when the bin is full. As ice builds up, the arm rises; when the ice level drops, the arm lowers so normal ice production can resume. Rod included.
Part details
Often called an ice maker shutoff arm, bail arm, or feeler arm, this small part controls when the ice maker stops and starts making ice. If the arm is bent, loose, stuck, or broken, the ice maker may stop before the bin is full or continue producing ice when it should shut off. Rod linkage included.
