OEM part description
This genuine Sub-Zero wide paddle icemaker arm monitors the amount of ice in the storage bin. As the bin fills, ice raises the paddle and shuts the icemaker off. When ice is removed and the level drops, the arm lowers so ice production can begin again.
Part details
The shutoff arm prevents the icemaker from continuing to fill an already-full storage bin. A damaged, bent, binding, or incorrectly positioned paddle can cause excessive ice production, premature shutoff, or an icemaker that does not restart after ice has been removed.
