OEM part description
This genuine Sub-Zero icemaker control arm monitors the amount of ice in the storage bin. As the bin fills, the molded arm rises and shuts the icemaker off. When ice is removed and the level drops, the arm lowers so normal ice production can resume.
Part details
The ice-level arm prevents the icemaker from continuing to produce ice after the storage bin is full. A worn, cracked, sticking, or misaligned arm can cause premature shutoff, excessive ice production, or an icemaker that does not restart after ice has been removed.
