OEM part description
Expert Appliance Pro supplies the genuine Wolf burner body, spark electrode, and complete five‑wire ignition set together as our technician‑recommended repair kit for select R Series ranges and RT Series rangetops. The burner body supports proper burner operation, while the electrode and ignition wires deliver the high‑voltage spark produced by the separate spark module to the surface burners.
This kit is ideal for weak spark, delayed ignition, repeated clicking without lighting, or burners that fail to ignite consistently.
Part details
The spark electrode can only ignite the burner properly when the high‑voltage ignition signal reaches it consistently. Over time, repeated burner heat exposes ignition wires, which can harden the insulation, weaken the terminals, damage the internal conductor, or create paths for high‑voltage leakage to surrounding metal.
As a result, the electrode may misfire, spark intermittently, or fail to ignite the burner altogether.

Tech Tip: During burner service, the spark electrode can seize or be difficult to remove from an aged burner body, and the ceramic insulator may crack or break during disassembly. Grease, food residue, and carbon buildup around the burner and electrode can also interfere with spark performance. Before reassembly, inspect the ignition wires for hardened insulation, damaged terminals, excessive resistance, or signs of arcing.
