OEM part description
Complete bake-side repair package: oven burner tube/manifold assembly and hot-surface bake igniter. The burner distributes the bake flame beneath the oven floor, while the igniter must heat and draw properly before the oven safety valve allows gas to the burner. Our technicians recommend replacing the igniter along with the burner when renewing an older bake burner assembly. The igniter is a wear item, and it can still glow while becoming too weak to operate the gas valve properly. Fits R models prior to serial number 11289470. Wolf R Series ovens were built for strong, even baking heat, but both the burner and igniter age from years of high-temperature use. A deteriorated burner can develop rust, damaged flame ports, or an uneven flame pattern, while a weak igniter can cause slow lighting, long preheat times, or an oven that will not heat at all. Replacing both at the same time gives the bake system two fresh components instead of installing a new burner beside an older, tired igniter.
