OEM part description
Complete bake-side repair package with the oven burner tube/manifold assembly and hot-surface bake igniter. The burner distributes the bake flame beneath the oven floor, while the igniter must heat and draw properly before the oven safety valve allows gas to the burner. Our technicians recommend replacing the igniter along with the burner when renewing an older bake burner assembly. The igniter is a wear item, and it can still glow while becoming too weak to operate the gas valve properly. Fits R models starting with serial number 11289470. For serial numbers prior to 11289470, see catalog item W358. Tech Tip: If you can't locate the serial number, match the rear bracket configuration.

Years of repeated heating and cooling can take a toll on the original Wolf bake burner and igniter. Rust, damaged flame ports, or burner deterioration can affect the flame pattern, while a weakening igniter may cause slow ignition, extended preheat times, or no bake heat. Servicing both components together avoids installing a new burner beside an older igniter that may already be nearing the end of its service life.
