OEM part description

Genuine Wolf medium 12,000 BTU sealed surface burner assembly for select gas cooktops. On applicable Wolf cooktops, this is the middle-output burner used between the smaller 9,200 BTU burner and the larger 18,000 or 20,000 BTU burner. The burner assembly includes the spark igniter so you can service the burner and ignition electrode together.

Part details

Heat exposure, spills, corrosion, blocked burner openings, or damage around the electrode can cause uneven flame, delayed ignition, repeated clicking, or intermittent lighting. Because the igniter comes with the burner assembly, you don't need to reuse an aged or damaged electrode during replacement.

Specifications / Important Notes:

  • Part Type: Medium sealed surface burner assembly
  • Burner Output: 12,000 BTU
  • Common Name: Medium burner / 12K burner
  • Includes: Spark igniter
  • Applicable CG Burner Range: Small 9.2K, Medium 12K, Large 18K/20K depending on model
  • Burner Cap: Separate component
  • Ignition Lead Wire: Separate component
  • Brand: Genuine Wolf

Tech Tip: If the medium burner clicks but does not light consistently, make sure the burner is cool, clean, completely dry, and that the burner cap is seated correctly. Food buildup in the burner openings can interfere with both flame distribution and ignition. Individual ports can be carefully cleared with a toothpick, and the ignitor area can be cleaned gently with a soft, dry toothbrush.
