This genuine Sub-Zero evaporator fan assembly moves cold air through the refrigerator side of select BI-Series side-by-side models. The fan pulls air across the evaporator area and circulates it through the fresh-food compartment to help maintain consistent temperatures.

Proper airflow is necessary for even refrigerator temperatures. A worn or failing fan assembly may cause weak air movement, warmer areas inside the compartment, excessive fan noise, intermittent cooling, or difficulty maintaining the selected refrigerator temperature.
