OEM part description

Genuine Sub-Zero water inlet valve used specifically in the automatic ice-making system of select BI Series models. During each ice-making cycle, the valve opens the water path to the ice maker and closes again when filling is complete.

Part details

Consistent Sub-Zero ice production depends on reliable water delivery every time the ice maker fills. A restricted or failing valve can lead to slow ice production, small or incomplete cubes, or no ice, while a valve that does not close tightly can allow excess water into the ice maker.
