OEM part description
This genuine Sub-Zero drain pan heater loop helps evaporate water collected in the drain pan beneath your refrigerator/freezer. The tubing forms part of the sealed refrigeration system and transfers heat to the pan during operation. It replaces a corroded, leaking or damaged original loop.

A leaking heater loop can allow refrigerant to escape, causing rising temperatures, longer compressor run times and eventual loss of cooling. Replacing a confirmed leaking loop, along with proper sealed-system repair and recharging, helps restore cooling performance and the heat needed to evaporate drain-pan water.
